Sunstone: Meaning, Metaphysical & Healing Properties

β˜€οΈ Sunstone is variety of feldspar that harbors an orange, peachy and/or reddish color and that often has golden sparkling flakes (often called schiller) from hematite, Goethite, Pyrite or copper inclusions. It's a stone of lightness, happiness, joy and masculine energy. It helps bring more of the sun's energy, strength and vitality into your life and helps lift depressed moods.

Most often only partly translucent, some, like the Oregon Sunstone variety, are almost fully translucent.
